Nintendo's Wii will go on sale in Japan tomorrow.
The Wii console is the last of the new generation of game playing gadgets to go on sale in Japan. Sony launched the PlayStation 3 in Japan on 11 November and Microsoft's Xbox 360 has been on sale in the country for almost 12 months.

Reports suggest that about 400,000 Wii units will be available for Japanese gamers and the console is likely to sell out.

In Japan the Wii console will cost 25,000 yen (£113).

The Wii console goes on sale Europe on 8 December.
