More games added to Xbox 360 backwards compatibility

Microsoft has released a new update for the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility software, with lots of new titles added.

The update should prompt you to install it when you load up an Xbox game in your Xbox 360, and once installed you'll have access to a new set of Xbox games that previously didn't work on Microsoft's next-gen console.

The most notable additions are Shenmue II, Psychonauts and Conker: Live and Reloaded. The games should look better than ever thanks to upscaled visuals and the addition of anti-aliasing.

The list of Xbox games that work on the Xbox 360 has now expanded to more than 300, but there are still some top titles not compatible - Rallisport Challenge 2 and Jet Set Radio Future to name but two.

You can view the full list of compatible games over on Xbox.com, where you can also download the update to your PC if you can't get your Xbox online.
