If you call yourself an RPG fan, then you hold the studio BioWare close to your hearts. This team has created amazing RPG stories such as Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire. And to usher in the next-generation, they are currently working on Mass Effect for the Xbox 360. Though the epic game was hoping for a Winter 2006 release, the game has been pushed back to 2007.
To help relieve gamers of their suffering, Bioware Community Coordinator Chris Priestly posted on the BioWare forums that a treat is coming to gamers.
It's been a long time getting everything working correctly (you'd think it'd be easy taking on medium and transferring it to another, wouldn't you?), but we're finally ready to show the X06 demo trailer.
It will be live on both our website and on Xbox live this Friday. We don't have the exact times yet, but I would assume mid-morning to noon BioWare (Edmonton) time would be a safe bet.
Stay tuned.
He then added in a separate post,
The original presentation took about (I think) 20 minutes per interview. But that included multiple pauses to answer questions, going back to reshow a cool element of the gameplay, and other stuff that happens in a live presentation that doesn't happen on a video. You will be seeing the video that was shown at X06 almost in it's entirety, with only a very little filler material removed.
So there you have it, experience Mass Effect just as the press did at X06 and be sure to check out the impressions we had of the game at E3.
