According to Kotaku, two new games have been released on Sony’s counterpart for Xbox Live Arcade, the Playstation Store. Lemmings and Go! Sudoku are both well-known formulas, but have now been enhanced and brought to the Playstation 3.
According to the press release, Lemmings will fully utilize the Playstion 3’s processing power with support for 1080P and beautiful effects and rich animation. If that’s full utilization of the PS3 Sony, I honestly don’t want to know what else you’ve got in store for the next couple of years. But hey, we can look past the sales talk and with the game being priced at a measly $5.99 it’s a pretty good deal.
KEY FEATURES
- Full HD at 1080p – High resolution at full 1080p HD.
- 40 New Levels – Coupled with new play modes and dynamically-lit levels, Lemmings 2 delivers a more compelling and dynamic experience.
- Teleport and Cloning Machines – Exponentially increases the fiendish puzzle possibilities.
- Global Online Rankings – Gamers will be able to check their rank versus the world.
Go! Sudoku has been released as well but this is nothing more than the well-known puzzle game with some fancy graphic effects. Thankfully the first pack is free and you can buy additional packs for $2.99 each.
Go! Sudoku is, of course, sudoku the number puzzle fad that is sweeping the nation. The first pack is free, with four additional packs priced at $2.99 each. Since I’m in post-Brain Age sudoku rehab, I’ll pass on this one
These games were available earlier in Japan, but now US citizens can enjoy them as well.
