Halo 3 Xbox 360 Commercial Airs

A few days ago we brought you two very big pieces of news in regards to the most anticipated Xbox 360 title, Halo 3. First was the announcement that Microsoft and Bungie have decided to hold a public beta for Halo 3’s multiplayer mode. Next was the first and only airing commercial for Halo 3 on television. Well both have come today.

The public beta allows gamers worldwide to register for a chance to be a part of Microsoft’s franchise title. And even more than that, you get to play Halo 3 before anyone else. To register, just head over to the game’s official website at Halo3.com. You have to have a harddrive, an Xbox Live Gold Account and be 17 years of age to participate. As you can imagine, this site is currently being flooded with gamers wanting to participate as the site is going on and offline intermittently. Just keep trying and hopefully you’ll get through.

Part two of Halo 3-day is the first official airing of a sixty second commercial for the game during tonight’s Monday Night Football game. The ad began with two children lying down in a grassy field looking up at the stars. They’re wondering if there are others from space when the scene changes to you looking through the eyes of a dazed and disoriented Master Chief with his helmet off no less. Could this mean we actually get to see the face of Master Chief in Halo 3?

As he gathers himself and puts his helmet back on, bombs are covering the sky and falling all around him the African desert. His communications comes back online as he hears chatter from his comrades looking for him. That’s when he pulls out a brand new grenade. Once activated, he throws it down on the ground in front of his feet which creates a shield all around him in a sphere protecting him from in incoming bomb headed straight for him. Then in true Master Chief style, he jumps off a cliff and into a squad of Covenant. The commercial may not be anywhere near actually gameplay, but it’s cool to look at nonetheless.

For those of you who missed the action, we here at The Game Feed give you what you want. That’s why we’re providing the video download free of charge with no watermarks. We’re providing two versions of the same commercial as usual, large and small. Take your pick, or if you don’t want to download it at all, check it out in our footage section.
