Free Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter for Some UK Gamers

BT Total Broadband has partnered with Xbox Live to offer a free Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter for new BT Total Broadband customers.  The offer, which is also available to those who switch from another supplier, will be available through www.bt.com/xboxoffer.

This is the kind of free junk I like to see from an internet provider, considering how pricey it can be just to stay connected to the world at the highest possible speeds.  I also like that a broadband company is recognizing the large role gaming can play in customer's deciding to upgrade their internet connection.

Here is what BT says in their press release:  "BT Total Broadband customers could benefit from ultra-fast download speeds of up to 8Mb2 enabling gamers to move up to a completely new level of online multi-player gaming – with speeds which allow the game to react as quickly as the players. Gamers will be able to experience exceptional stability with any action delays reduced to an absolute minimum, incredibly smooth 'real time' game play and advanced online gaming features with Xbox Live.".

Too bad this kind of deal is nowhere to be found in the States.
